On August 3, 2024, WACPF- PeaceJam Ghana held a teachers training program aimed at equipping educators with the knowledge and skills to teach peace and conflict resolution to their students. This training forms part of the preparations for the upcoming PeaceJam WA Slam under the theme ''Envisioning Harmony: Embracing the Power of Peace."
The training brought together 30 diverse group of teachers from across the Upper West Region, WA who were introduced to the PeaceJam curriculum, innovative strategies, methods and tools to foster a culture of peace within classrooms.
This collaborative effort is a significant step towards building generation of peace ambassadors. These teachers are now better equipped to inspire and guide their students towards peaceful co-existence and conflict resolution, both in the classroom and beyond.
